Terms of Use

By downloading or using BPal (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Licence
LuvleeLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes only, in accordance with these terms and Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines.
2. Premium – Subscription
The App is free to download and includes logging, history, the seven-day chart, the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and one export. Premium unlocks the longer chart ranges (30 days, 90 days, six months, one year and all time), unlimited PDF and CSV exports, ongoing Apple Health synchronisation, continued Bluetooth monitor imports, and removes advertising.
- Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. A one-time lifetime purchase may also be available. The plans currently on offer are shown in the App.
- A free trial period may be offered. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the then-current price is charged to your Apple Account.
- Pricing is displayed in the App Store in your local currency at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in iOS Settings › your Apple Account › Subscriptions.
- Family Sharing is not available for Premium.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; Premium features remain available until then.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policy.
3. Apple Health (HealthKit)
With your permission, the App reads blood pressure, heart rate and weight from Apple Health, and writes blood pressure and heart rate back to it. It never writes weight to Apple Health. You may grant or revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices. LuvleeLab is not responsible for discrepancies between the App and the Apple Health app, or for data written to Health by other applications.
4. Bluetooth Monitors
The App can import readings from blood pressure monitors that implement the standard Bluetooth Blood Pressure Profile, and from certain Omron models. Compatibility depends on the device, its firmware and its manufacturer, and cannot be guaranteed for any particular model. LuvleeLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any monitor manufacturer, and is not responsible for the accuracy of readings produced by your monitor. Follow your monitor’s own instructions for how to measure correctly.
5. Medical Disclaimer
The App is not a medical device. It does not measure blood pressure. It is a logging tool for readings you take with your own monitor. All logs, categories, averages, distributions, MAP figures, statistical summaries and reports it produces are for informational and personal self-monitoring purposes only. They are based on the data available to the App and do not account for your individual clinical circumstances.
The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. A single reading cannot diagnose hypertension. Do not make treatment decisions, adjust medication or change your care on the basis of information shown by the App. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. If you record a reading where systolic is over 180 or diastolic is over 120, or you have symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, vision changes or trouble speaking, contact emergency services.
Blood pressure categories shown in the App follow published AHA/ACC and ESC thresholds. They are reproduced for reference and do not constitute an assessment of your health.
6. Your Data
Your readings are stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups, and for the security of any backup file or exported report you create, since these contain your health data. LuvleeLab cannot recover data lost through device loss, device failure, deletion of the App, or a restore performed without a current backup. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App;
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations;
- attempt to circumvent or disable any subscription or advertising mechanism;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice within the App.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics and code within the App are the property of LuvleeLab or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services including Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Mixpanel and Sentry. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. LuvleeLab is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LuvleeLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to any health decision made on the basis of information displayed by the App.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
